Pricing was always fair, and 1-click installations have always been a thing for WordPress, Joomla, Weebly, Drupal, etc. One of the reasons I decided to go elsewhere was for speed and simplicity.
Since GoDaddy has grown into a titan of the industry, it seems as though they’ve dipped into various niches within the web space in general, taking their focus on what used to make them the best—simplicity.
Uptime is 99.7%, 24/7 customer support, but there’s an overwhelming amount of upsells and you won’t be getting an SSL certificate with your website, which is a standard on the web today. Good for beginners but not a top pick if you’re serious about providing a great web experience.
